Public health nursing is defined as the practice of promoting and protecting the health of populations using knowledge from nursing, social, and public health sciences. One of the toughest challenges we’re fighting in America is hunger. One in six children doesn’t know when their next meal will be. I was able to participate in the million meals program to help serve the community meals and provide health education and entertainment for the children during the summer.
